CastleCares® Concludes Its Annual Month Of Caring

Castle Group, Florida’s premier choice for property management services, concluded its Month of Caring, an annual event that encourages employees to donate their time and take a hands-on approach to making a positive impact. This yearly initiative is organized by the company’s philanthropic arm, CastleCares®, and spans across all the regions Castle is present in.

“Month of Caring is such a special time of the year for CastleCares®”, said Kara O’Keefe, Chair of CastleCares®. “To see our teammates come together and provide support to our communities is truly heartwarming and something I’m proud to lead.”

CastleCares® began the month with a monetary donation to the United for Ukraine Fund, which provides immediate relief to those impacted by the rising humanitarian crisis. Additionally, the Miami-Dade team participated in the Special Olympics event on March 13th led by Account Manager, Suly Encalada, and Regional Director, Jim Koslosky. West Palm Beach also held their own Special Olympics event led by Regional Director, Leslie Alvarez.

Broward hosted a volunteer event at the Flamingo Gardens, a 60-acre Tropical Botanic Garden and Everglades Wildlife Sanctuary, aviary and zoo led by Assistant Property Manager, Katherine Souto. Eight volunteers gathered to help clean out and organize the garden’s shed.

Other efforts of the month included a statewide Toiletries Drive in which the Broward, Miami-Dade, West Palm, Southwest Florida, and the Jacksonville-Orlando-Tampa-Sarasota regions all participated. Basic wellness supplies were collected and donated to each region’s respective local charities such as the Boys & Girls Club and Aid for Victims of Domestic Abuse (ADVA).
