CastleCares℠ raises over $4,500 in Dress Down for Cancer Research Fundraiser
December 14, 2016

Castle Group, Florida’s choice for community management, celebrated the success of its recent Dress Down for Cancer Research fundraiser. The initiative encourages friends, family members, and colleagues to donate to the cause by buying a $5.00 “CastleCares℠ About Cancer” bracelet. Castle Group employees who wore the bracelet on a designated Friday were allowed to “dress down” and come to work in jeans and casual wear. The fundraising drive was run company-wide, giving Castle employees at all office locations the opportunity to participate and contribute to raising money for cancer research. Collectively, the organization raised over $4,500, which was donated to the Kids of Love Foundation, Inc. – a charity with the mission of combating childhood cancer.
Planning and organization of the Dress Down for Cancer Research campaign was chaired by Hope Diaz and her team of CastleCares℠ ambassadors. “Hope, along with the other members of the CastleCares℠ committee showed an inspirational commitment to the cause,” said Cathy Donnelly, Director of Community Relations at a recent cake-cutting ceremony. “Hope has worked hard to motivate everyone in our company and our communities, and I can’t thank her enough for the difference she has made in the lives of families battling this illness.”
In line with CastleCares’ mission to help children and families in need, the Dress Down for Cancer Research drive continued a long-standing legacy of Castle Group’s philanthropic endeavors. “We are very proud of the work we’ve done so far,” proclaimed Mrs. Diaz, as she tallied up the donations. She continues, “and we plan to keep going, thanks to the generosity of the people in the Castle Group family.”
