He officially stepped into this role on July 1st, 2016. Prior to this appointment, Donnelly sat on the Broward Workshop’s Executive Committee as Vice-Chairman.
The Broward Workshop is a private, non-profit, non-partisan business organization comprised of the chief decision makers representing 100 of Broward County’s business and professions seeking to facilitate solutions to the county’s most critical issues.
“My time on the Broward Workshop has given me the incredible opportunity to work with a diverse group of professional leaders who all share in a common vision of building a stronger community in Broward,” said Donnelly. “The mission of the Broward Workshop really aligns with my own values and goals as a community leader, and I’m excited and grateful for the opportunity to serve as Chairman.”
Donnelly is very active in the South Florida community. In addition to his commitment to the Broward Workshop, he also serves on the Board of Directors of the Community Foundation of Broward, the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance, the LeMieux Center for Public Policy at Palm Beach Atlantic University, and the Leadership Cabinet for Realizing Potential at Nova Southeastern University. Donnelly and his wife Cathy are active members of the Boys and Girls Clubs Legacy Society, the United Way Tocqueville Society, and in 2010 they established CastleCares℠ as the philanthropic arm of the Castle Group.
