Beth Miller, Business Development Manager for the Palm Beach County region, has been appointed to the Palm Beach County Groundwater and Natural Resources Protection Board (GNRPB).

The purpose of the GNRPB is to hold hearings and issue orders to achieve compliance with regulations and codes pertaining to land development, environmental standards, excavation, petroleum storage and cleanup, storm water pollution prevention, and water and irrigation conservation; authorized to levy fines and property liens. The board enforces ordinances pertaining to sea turtle protection, wellfields, protection of native vegetation, prohibited invasive non-native vegetation removal, excavation, storm water pollution prevention, petroleum storage tank systems, and petroleum contamination cleanup criteria. The board liaises with Palm Beach County Environmental Resources Management.

“I have been a resident of Palm Beach County for nearly two decades. I grew up in Rhode Island – the Ocean State, so living near water has always been a priority to me,” Miller said. “I am amazed daily by the vast and varied natural beauty of Palm Beach County. This is where I am raising my family and it is important to me that our natural resources are protected for generations to come. I am honored to have the opportunity to serve our community in this capacity.”

In addition to working for Castle Group and volunteering for the advisory board, Miller is Treasurer of the Board of Directors for the Coalition of Boynton West Residential Associations, representing 113 residential communities and 145,000 residents in Greater West Boynton and has most recently become involved with Families First of Palm Beach County and Castle Cares. Miller has her BBA from the University of Miami and her MBA from Florida Atlantic University.

“Castle Group is proud of Beth’s appointment to this board and her dedication to Palm Beach County. Her commitment to all that she does is unparalleled” said Jordan Goldman, Castle Group Vice President of Business Development. “Castle Group’s purpose is to be proud of everything we do, and our vision is to enhance the lives of those in our communities through the values of integrity, contribution, and personal growth. Beth embodies all of these values.”
