Plantation, FL – December 5, 2019 – CastleCares®, the philanthropic arm of Castle Group (www.castlegroup.com), once again teamed up with the Fort Lauderdale Black Police Officers Association on November 26th, 2019 to provide holiday dinners to deserving families throughout the Fort Lauderdale 33311 area for their Thanksgiving celebrations.
“This event truly embodies the giving spirit of the season.” Said Cathy Donnelly, Director of Community Relations. “Every family wants the opportunity to hold a Thanksgiving celebration in the company of loved ones. This event is unique in that the police officers, supported by local businesses have the opportunity to interact in a positive way with the members of this deserving community.”
The Fort Lauderdale Black Police Officers Association (FLBPOA), a 501©3 organization, has been serving the Broward County community since 1981. This giving organization hosts many annual services and events throughout the community such as donation drives, mentoring, educational seminars, and banquets. We are elated to have partnered with this generous organization for another successful Community Turkey Distribution.
