Castle Group Prepares for Third Annual Day of Caring Employees will volunteer on February 25th at charity events statewide

February 21, 2017

Castle Group, Florida’s choice for community management, is excited to announce the launch of its 3rd annual Castle’s Day of Caring. In the spirit of giving back to the community, Castle’s Day of Caring is a day-long event wherein employees volunteer for charitable activities throughout the state of Florida. Saturday, February 25, 2017, has been chosen as the day that Castle Group’s network of caring employees will make an impact on the lives of Florida residents.

Castle Group has long been an advocate of volunteerism. CastleCares – the firm’s philanthropic arm – has marked Castle’s history with a series of toy drives, cancer walks, fundraisers, and more. Castle’s Day of Caring focuses on the donation of time – an act that encourages employees to take a hands-on approach to making a difference. “There’s tremendous value in volunteering,” said Cathy Donnelly, Director of Community Relations at Castle. “It has the power to uplift everyone that it touches. For the last 2 years, we’ve seen the lives that were touched by Castle’s Day of Caring; and I can’t wait to do even more this year.”

CastleCares partnered with multiple non-profit organizations to offer Castle Group employees a broad spectrum of volunteer opportunities. Activities range from cleaning debris off of beaches in Sarasota, to packaging food for the homeless in Pembroke Park. Some of the organizations Castle partnered with include:

PACE Center for Girls
Feeding South Florida
Jewish Adoption and Family Care Options
Children’s Harbor
Kidsanctuary
A Kid’s Place
Families First
Miami Children’s Museum
Southeastern Guide Dogs
Siesta Key Public Beach
Caps of Love

Castle’s Day of Caring promotes the company’s core values by demonstrating to employees how much positive change they can make in other people’s lives. “I have a feeling that this year’s Day of Caring will be better than ever,” stated James Donnelly, Castle Group’s Founder and CEO. “This event has become an annual tradition for us. I’m excited to witness the Castle family grow, give back, and be the change we strive to see in our communities.”
