January 21, 2016

Castle Group, Florida’s choice for community management, has appointed Millie Bermudez as its new Director of Human Resources.

Ms. Bermudez brings over a decade of hands-on experience in planning and implementing strategic organizational programs. Prior to joining Castle, Bermudez served as the Curaçao Managing Director for Arcos Dorados, the largest operator of McDonald’s restaurants in Latin America and the Caribbean. In this role, Bermudez headed operations of five stores, improving operational standards by over 10%.

“With such a diverse background of human resource experience and successful leadership roles, Millie is a superb addition to the Castle Team,” said James Donnelly, CEO and Founder of Castle Group. “As we continue to build and expand our operations statewide, Millie will help implement policies that directly reflect key business goals and Castle values.”

In her new role, Bermudez will direct all human resource activities for Castle Group. She is responsible for the successful performance of human resource functions, which include creating innovative recruitment and retention strategies, improving the training, development and performance management of employees statewide, and implementing tools designed to strengthen organizational health and efficiency.

Bermudez graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Master’s Degree in Labor Relations from the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico. She has received Compensation and Benefits Certification from the Superior Educational Institute and completed its full course on Human Resources and Labor Legislation. She also participated in Golden Rules Empowerment Training and the University of Miami’s Finance for Leadership Decisions educational workshop.
