CASTLE GROUP HOSTS FIRST ANNUAL CASTLE’S DAY OF CARING

Plantation, FL – February 17, 2015 – Castle Group, Florida’s choice for community management, hosted its first statewide Castle’s Day of Caring on Feb. 7, 2015. More than 100 volunteers from all over the state turned out to volunteer for local non-profits.

“I am so grateful for the dedicated volunteers who came out for Castle’s Day of Caring. We are so proud of our employees for giving back to their communities,” said Cathy Donnelly, Director of Community Relations, Castle Group. “Some of our employees walked, ran, some built homes, fed the hungry or raised money for children with cancer. Their spirit and dedication is what drives all of our philanthropic efforts, and that is the culture of who we are at Castle Group.”

Events from Castle’s Day of Caring included teaming up with KidsofLove.org, where participants sold awareness bracelets and protein bars to benefit kids with cancer. Other activities included Walk for Wishes South Florida in partnership with Make a Wish Foundation, Meals of Hope to aid family members of the Boys & Girls Club, and building homes with Habitat for Humanity.
