Plantation, FL – April 1, 2020 – Castle Group, the premier choice for property management, held its Sixth Annual Castle’s Month of Caring this past March. Castle’s Month of Caring is an opportunity for the Castle family to dedicate their time to social causes aimed at benefitting communities in need throughout the state of Florida. Thankfully, seven of the originally scheduled events were completed before the COVID-19 Pandemic imposed social distancing across the nation. Over the past 10 years, CastleCares®, the Castle Group’s philanthropic division, has made great impact and given our team and our residents a vehicle to support our communities.
Castle teammates along with family members, friends, and residents of Castle-managed communities volunteered their time and donated goods and services statewide. In Broward County, volunteers worked together to serve meals to the homeless citizens at the Broward Partnership and ran a clothing drive to benefit the Atlantic Technical School’s Career Closet. In the Central Florida area, a pantry drive was conducted to assist the Central Florida’s Children’s Home. Our Southwest Florida office participated in the Multiple Sclerosis Walk and conducted a food drive for the Harry Chapman Food Bank. The Sarasota and Lakewood Ranch offices did their part by conducting two successful blood drives to help save lives. We stand united and ready to deploy again as soon as the American Heart Association Heart Walk, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Walk and numerous other organizations announce their new, rescheduled dates in the future.
“Now more than ever we are very excited to see the impact our Annual Castle’s Month of Caring had on the community,” said Cathy Donnelly, Castle Group’s Director of Community Relations. “The entire Castle family always looks forward to this month because it gives us the opportunity to come together and dedicate our time to meaningful causes as a team. Each one of the organizations we have collaborated with for these events are dedicated to making a positive change within our local communities and we are honored to have worked alongside them. We are looking forward to 2021 and the ability to come back even stronger.”
