Plantation, FL – March 4th, 2019 – Castle Group, Florida’s choice for community association management, held its 5th annual Castle’s Month of Caring. Castle’s Month of Caring is a month-long event in which employees – along with family members, friends, and residents at properties managed by Castle Group – have a chance to volunteer for charitable activities throughout the state of Florida. February was chosen as the month that Castle Group’s network of volunteers participated in giving back to children and families in Florida.
Castle Group has long been an advocate of volunteerism. CastleCares® – the property management firm’s philanthropic division – has marked Castle’s history with various opportunities of volunteerism for the last 10 years. Castle’s Month of Caring focuses on donating one’s time and talent to social causes that benefit the less fortunate – an act that encourages employees to take a hands-on approach to making a difference.
For the February 2019 Month of Caring, CastleCares® partnered with multiple non-profit organizations to offer Castle Group employees a broad spectrum of volunteer opportunities. Activities range from serving meals to the homeless community in Broward to multiple walks/runs in Estero. CastleCares® is proud of its partnerships.
Castle’s Month of Caring promotes the company’s core values by demonstrating to employees how much positive change they can make in other people’s lives. “This year’s Month of Caring was the best we’ve ever conducted,” stated Cathy Donnelly, Castle Group’s Director of Community Relations. “The event has become an annual tradition for us; and I’m excited to witness the Castle family grow, give back, and be the change we strive to see in our communities.”
