Fort Lauderdale, FL – August 22, 2018, This Summer CastleCares® (Castle Group’s philanthropic division) organized a school supply drive to benefit the children of local veterans. More than 500 school bags were donated to help alleviate the financial burden that a new school year can place on military families. This year marked the 4th year that the supply drive took place, and following tradition, the backpack giveaway ceremony occurred at the Jean and David Colker Center for Veterans on August 15th.

It truly is our joy to give back to those with limited resources.”
Since its inception in 2013, MISSION UNITED has served over 12,000 veterans. Through its partners and United Way of Broward County, MISSION UNITED has helped over 5,000 veterans significantly reduce the number of veterans who experience chronic homelessness.
