Castle Group, is proud to announce that Alina Lopez has been named one of the 100 Outstanding Women of Broward County. This will be the Ninth Annual event bringing the community together to celebrate how far women have come in leadership roles in business, community and philanthropic fields.
Lopez has been a part of the Castle team for nearly seven years, first joining the company in November 2010 as a Resident Services Specialist. After a brief stint in this department, Alina was promoted to Accounts Receivable Specialist – a position that she held for over 5 years. Currently, she serves as an Accounts Transition Specialist. In this role, Alina manages new customers’ information in the property database, implements online services, opens operating bank accounts, and coordinates billing arrangements for Castle Group’s clientele.
In addition to the work that Alina does for Castle, the 100 Outstanding Women of Broward County will recognize her for the work she does on behalf of Castle Group. In 2014, Alina joined CastleCaresSM – the philanthropic arm of Castle Group that is dedicated to improving the lives of children and families in Florida. Alina has played a pivotal role in CastleCaresSM history. She led two successful school supply drives for Mission United, helped organize four consecutive annual toy drives for the Boys & Girls Club, and volunteered in four “Dress Down for Cancer” fundraising events. “We are proud to have compassionate people like Alina Lopez as part of the Castle family,” stated Director of Community Relations, Cathy Donnelly upon hearing the news. “Alina has shown tremendous dedication, not only to advancing Castle Group’s business objectives, but also to Castle Group’s charitable causes throughout the state of Florida.”
“I am humbled, and deeply honored, by this recognition as one of the 100 Outstanding Women of Broward County,” said Miss Lopez of the achievement. “To join the extraordinary women before me – whom I admire and respect – is deeply rewarding,” she continued. And when asked what words of encouragement she would you give to young women striving to be outstanding, Alina replied:
“Always follow your dreams and do not allow anyone to try to convince you that you can’t accomplish them. Use that as a form of motivation to prove you absolutely can!”
The Ninth Annual 100 Outstanding Women of Broward County event will occur on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at the Signature Grand in Davie, Florida. All proceeds of the event will benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County. For more information about the event, please visit: www.100outstandingwomen.com
